Actress found to be using body double at home instead of film sets, during the pandemic. Click to know why!

At a time when even Hollywood / Bollywood are losing out on full employment potential due to the pandemic, at least the body doubles from the industry are finding employment it seems. The first such incident was reported in Malad, Mumbai where upcoming star Dwitiya Kapoor-Chopra was found using a body double to do her work at home. This was because her regular maid was not allowed to enter her society as per rules of the residents’ association, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. And she may not be alone. Many actresses facing similar restrictions are allegedly using their body doubles for various domestic tasks. “In movies, we use body doubles for stunts scenes where we have to expose too much of our body to physical risks or to the camera. Our body doubles briskly perform such tasks. So even in this covid risk, our body doubles can briskly go past our security guards who think I am me, though I’m actually not.” Dwitiya told the Blue Bonnet Bot, who being a robot, was allowed in her housing society after he had updated his ‘anti-virus’ software. Dwitiya continued, “Once the fake ‘me’ is in the house, she can do all sorts of things that I don’t want to do.” “Such as wash utensils?” asked the Bot. “Many things, but, oh yes, that too. Actually, only that, not other things as far as you are concerned” she said smilingly, looking at her manicured nails and well-applied make-up.

 There are other cases as well. In an unsubstantiated rumor, the Bonnet Bots were told that even a cricketer, Kirat, used a body double to do the utensils that were allotted to his ‘quota’ by his wife. “Due to a scheduling error, there was no cricket series going on in India for 3 days at a stretch, so Kirat was at home, and supposed to be doing utensils, which he had delegated to his body double. But the double apparently tried to get fresh with the madam at home. But his efforts were partially wasted when he realized that the girl he brushed against was none other than Sanushka’s body double herself!” said Pinkvita Khabari, the current Bollywood gossip expert in the WBR (Western Bandra Region), to the Yellow Bot. 

At the time of going to press, the Bonnet Bots were trying to confirm the authenticity of this story by making sure that they indeed spoke to Pinkvita from the WBR, and not her body double.
