In an unbelievable turn of events, the Government of Bengaluru had allegedly announced that Bangalore might have one full day without power cuts as early as next month. People in areas such as Bellandur, Whitefield, Marathahalli, and the various ‘Layouts’ were gullible enough to believe that their area might not face even one power cut during that entire day.

The news was spread by a local newspaper in Bengaluru, causing a lot of uncalled-for excitement, which made them overlook the date of the news. Experts had claimed after reading it, that this might have become possible because of voters who have threatened to demand good roads and even consistent water supply in return for their votes.

The Bonnet Bots spoke to a few people to know their reactions. The ruling party told the Yellow Bonnet Bot,”This fake news has been made to tarnish our image, without giving us time to fix the issues we inherited”. An Independent MLA from Bangalore had immediately declared that this is nothing great. “Actually they are developing Bangalore just for getting peoples’ votes. This is the age-old tactic of their party” he had claimed while speaking to the Blue Bonnet Bot.
